So here are the cupcakes i sent to kai's class on Fri! i did the wilton chocolate molds yumm! and then blue icing for water with grahm cracker crumbs for the sand!

Here is the mermaid cake that took me ALL DAY LONG! It turned out pretty cute!

this is a little photo frame all the girls got sent home with i just put some sand and a shell in each one added a wave sicker to the top and printed out the group pic that day so they could go home with the memory!

Mermaid Party Part 2!

So when the girls arrive to the party we are first sending them on a trasure hunt around the house!

In the buried treasure chest will be these cute canvas tote bags I found at the dollar store filled with...


A sequin mermaid tail skirt I made each of them to wear for the party...

Kaiahnas Mermaid Party.. Part 1

So Kai is turning 6 on the 11th of April and she wanted a mermaid party, so of course now I am going all out to make this one cool themed party on a major budget! So its starts here with the invites!

arrived today at 7:39 am weighing in at 7lbs 6oz and 21inches long! It was an awesome labor. I started contractions at 5:30pm last night and then only had hard labor contractions for about 2 hours then got an epidural slept through the night and then they broke my water and I pushed in out in 2 pushes! crazy! It was an awesome experience and we are now blessed with 3 healthy beautiful children! Ill get pic up here soon too i promise!

The Last Night!

Wow... so tonight is my last "normal" night at home before the baby comes! Kawika and I are going in at 8pm tomorrow to be induced in the morning on thursday! Yay, so I thought I would post a little note letting you all know that I will get some pics up as soon as I get a chance!

Speaking of Names!

Alright so, this pregnancy has been so different than I ever expected! Im so much more calm, and at ease about everything! Although I have had way more complications this time around than the first two, I am still just so chill about the whole thing! I am gonna be induced on Feb 19th, that is if I don't go on my own earlier than that which I swear will happen! The funny thing is, is that Im so not ready for him to join this world yet, I'm not ready I think because I know what's coming! Its gonna be a little crazy! So besides things I so don't have done yet, I HAVE NO NAME! Heres the low down!


Kawika and I have been over quite a few names over the months, but we cannot come to an agreement! There are a few things that have to be and thats why its been so hard! So our kids names are Hawaiian obviously if you already know us! Kaiahana is actually part hawaiian, Kai means The Sea, in Hawaiian, and then Makani means The Wind! So you would think there would be an easy choice to find the meaning of fire or earth or sky or something, but thats SO NOT THE CASE!

So.... basically the choices have been narrowed down to Makoa which means fearless/warrior/strength!

There is also a very native tree that grows in hawaii that is called the Koa tree so we could go by that also!

or... my mom came up with the name Makawe (its pronounced (MA-KA-V-AY) because the "w" in hawaiian is pronounced "V"

So I would really love any advice, or opinions on these two names because Kawika and I do not agree, or if you know of any cool hawaiian names or meanings that would be awesome too!

so I though I would share and get some feedback from ya"ll! Anything would help!

31 weeks! Christmas Day!

So here is an updated pic for those who asked, don't mind the awesome swollen and bloatedness of a body this third time around! By the way we STILL DONT HAVE NAME YET! And if you know me thats a little odd by this time around, usually it would be all planned out! Any ideas would be great! Its a little hrd though, cause it needs to be hawaiian, there are only 12 letters in their language and it cannot start with a K! YA, ITS NOT EASY!

So I have been making names for friends new babies for a while now, and I love making them cause each one gets to be so different based on the nursery so here was my latest I did for a friend of mine! The babies room is Teal, Brown and Pink, and I had a lot of fun using the modge podge stuff this time!

What A Scare!

So Sunday evening came and it was a very chill day after a VERY crazy and stressful week and our family was doing great with getting dinner done at 6, kids bathed, teeth brushed and ready for bed, when Kawika was in Kai's bed reading to her I was folding laundry and putting it all away when I felt really wet! Ya know the weird like OK I'm pregnant, and its wasn't a loose bladder thing, so I went in to the bathroom to "clean up" and the next thing I see is bright red blood and I freaked out! I'm only 16 weeks pregnant and I know blood isn't really a good thing! So I called the doc, and had to go into the ER last night. My mom came over and stayed with the kids and we were on our way, and wow was I scared.

The whole drive there i was numb! So we finally get in and I get the IV, blood tests done, I get a vaginal exam and then an ultrasound done. It was so hard waiting for the ultrasound cause all I wanted to see was the heart beat~So FINALLY we went in and sure enough the baby was kicking around and the I once I saw the heart beat and from there I was good! but still there was no answer for the bleeding. So eventually the doctor came in and told me I have partial placenta previa! Which is when the placenta is laying over the cervix, but they also said the beleeding didn't have anything to do with the Previa! Seriously!? Why isn't there an answer for that? Its kind of annoying!
So I am now on modified bed rest and If you know me, thats not in my vocabulary, Kawika is home today with me to help out and let me rest! So for now I cant do much of anything, that I would like to do! Tomorrow I see the OB doctor and find out some more info on all of this and Ill keep you updated, but if anyone has some advice or info let me know! Its all new to me!
